A socially distant portrait day …

One my all-time favorite events to photography is Spring Portrait Day.  A few years ago in honor of Mother’s Day, I decided to invite the moms to jump into the photos and it’s become a beloved tradition.

This year, due to All The Things, we had to skip the usual April event and when I saw that restrictions were being loosened up last month, I decided to offer an abbreviated Portrait Day … outside!  Instead of 60-70 sessions over the course of two weekends, I only photographed about 15 moms and their kiddos, offering plenty of time in between each session.

There was absolutely no silliness going on and we definitely did not have any fun at all 🙂

I hope to resume our usual studio Portrait Day this August and I can’t wait to see you all there!
