back to blogging!

oh, i’ve missed this blog of mine!  i’m pretty sure that “blog more” is near the top of every year’s list of work-related new years resolutions for me.  it’s such a great way to show recent work, but i find it super hard to keep up with.  so i will do what i can with the time that i have and hope that 2013 brings more blog posts than 2012 did, especially since 2012’s blog posts have gone missing!

in the off chance that you and i are not friends on facebook and you haven’t been subjected to approximately one zillion baby photos, i’ll post some here.  this past october, we welcomed our third daughter, lucy, now 4 1/2 months old.

eleanor, my six year old, is still waiting patiently for this baby to go ahead and learn some tricks already! and has mostly taken on the role of baby observer, giving me updates as to which way she’s looking, whether her legs are moving up and down or side to side, that sort of thing.  this afternoon, though, she asked me if i’d take some photos of her with her baby sister.
lucy is a good sport!

ellie’s interest lasted all of 10 minutes and she went back downstairs to finish a project.

i love when babies discover that their feet are indeed attached to their bodies.  and i love how lu straightens her legs so tight when she’s excited!
