this session started off as a sort of comedy of errors. just a half hour into our first session, the dad and i were both stung by bees, despite being warned by the little boy that there was a bee nest in the tree we were standing next to! then the other little boy took a tumble. we were done and decided to try again a few days later. when we arrived at our first location, we were swarmed with mosquitos. holy wow, i’ve never seen so many. we decided to try another cedarburg park and thankfully the mosquitos left us alone. but these images are totally worth the trouble 🙂
